Course Summary:
Aimed at all who are interested in programming in Visual Basic, this course will introduce delegates to the key elements of the Visual Basic programming language and environment, including using the popular Internet aware parts of this Rapid Application Development tool.
Target Audience:
Those who would benefit from this course are standard applications programmers; mainframe programmers (e.g. those using CICS) who want to understand or develop GUIs in Visual Basic; Project Leaders; and Administration staff requiring an understanding of what their programmers will be using in the future.
Recommended Prerequisites:
Some previous experience with a programming language
Knowledge of the Windows interface and familiarity with its terminology
Rudimentary knowledge of word-processing and spreadsheet applications
